PLAYzone Arena Visitor Rules

These PLAYzone Arena visitor rules (hereinafter the "Visitor Rules") were created by PLAYzone s.r.o., Company ID: 28399510, with registered office at Vinohradská 3217/167,  Prague 10 – Strašnice, postcode 100 00, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 138766 (hereinafter "PLAYzone"), which is the operator of the PLAYzone arena, and their purpose is in particular to define and set binding rules of conduct for visitors to the PLAYzone arena.

Definitions in these visitor rules

  1. Unless otherwise stated in these Visitor Rules, terms beginning with a capital letter have the following meaning:
    1. "Price" is the price for the use of a Gaming Spot in the PLAYzone arena in the amount according to the current price list.
    2. "Gaming Spot" is a spot in the PLAYzone arena which a Registered Visitor uses for the agreed Price to play Games, namely a spot in the gaming room with computers, a spot at a gaming console, a spot at a virtual reality station, a spot on the Thronos gaming chair and/or a spot at a racing simulator.
    3. "Game" is software based primarily on interaction between one or more individuals (with each other) and software that can be run on computers, consoles or other devices in the PLAYzone arena.
    4. "Visitor" is a natural person who has entered the premises of the PLAYzone arena (regardless of whether they are a Registered Visitor or not).
    5. "Westfield Chodov shopping centre" is the shopping centre named Westfield Chodov at Roztylská 2321/19, Prague 4, postcode 148 00.
    6. "Peripherals" are hardware that connects to the computers and consoles at a gaming spot. These are primarily keyboards, mice, headphones, joysticks, steering wheels, etc.
    7. "PLAYzone" is the operator of the PLAYzone arena, PLAYzone s.r.o., Company ID: 28399510, with registered office at Prague 10 – Strašnice, Vinohradská 3217/167, postcode 100 00, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 138766.
    8. "PLAYzone arena" are the premises in the Westfield Chodov shopping centre leased by PLAYzone and used primarily for operating e-sport, e-sport tournaments, showmatches, training, team building, providing business presentations, streaming, etc.
    9. "Opening hours" are the times when the PLAYzone arena is open to the public.
    10. "Registration" means the registration agreement concluded between the Registered Visitor and PLAYzone by completing and submitting the registration form.
    11. "Registered Visitor" is a natural person who has completed Registration.

PLAYzone Arena rules

  1. Every Visitor is obliged to observe the rules set out in these Visitor Rules — both a Visitor who is not registered and is present in the PLAYzone arena, for example as a spectator, and a Registered Visitor. Every Visitor is further obliged to observe the Fire Alarm Directive of the Westfield Chodov shopping centre.
  2. Visitors may move around the PLAYzone arena in all areas reserved for Visitors. In the event that a private event is taking place in the PLAYzone arena, they may only move around in areas that are not closed off to Visitors. A Visitor must always take care not to disturb other Visitors and not to harass or restrict in any way a person who is using a Gaming Spot.
  3. By voluntarily entering an event held in the premises of the PLAYzone arena, visitors to the event consent, within the meaning of Section 84 of Act No. 89/2021 Coll., the Civil Code, to the taking and further use of photographs and audio, video or audiovisual recordings (hereinafter "Recordings"), for the purpose of marketing, commerce and promotion of this event, future editions of the event or other similar events in the PLAYzone arena, as well as for the purpose of promoting PLAYzone or the PLAYzone arena. The Recordings may be published, for example, on social media or the PLAYzone website, screened at a future edition of the Event or at similar events in the PLAYzone arena, etc. More detailed information about consent to the taking of Recordings and the processing of personal data related to the taking and use of a Recording can be found in the Notice on Consent to the Taking and Use of Recordings available on the PLAYzone website www.playzonearena.cz and for inspection at the PLAYzone arena reception.
  4. When moving around the PLAYzone arena, every Visitor is obliged to follow the instructions of authorised staff, to behave considerately towards other visitors and to act in such a way as to avoid damaging the PLAYzone arena's equipment and causing damage to property and health. Every Visitor enters the PLAYzone arena at their own risk and bears full responsibility for themselves, including responsibility for any injury or sickness when using a Gaming Spot (especially when using virtual reality). Children present in the PLAYzone arena are the responsibility of their legal representatives.
  5. The Visitor is entitled, by agreement with PLAYzone, to connect their own peripherals to a computer at a Gaming Spot. The Visitor is responsible for their peripherals. The Peripherals must have all mandatory inspections, maintenance and repairs carried out in accordance with generally binding regulations and technical standards. In the event of damage to computers and consoles when connecting peripherals, the Visitor is liable to PLAYzone for the damage caused.
  6. The Visitor is prohibited from connecting any data media, such as SD cards, flash drives, HDDs, etc., to devices in the PLAYzone arena.
  7. PLAYzone is not liable for the loss of items left outside the locked lockers designated for storing personal belongings.
  8. It is not permitted to bring into the PLAYzone arena any alcohol, food and drinks, glass or plastic bottles, pressurised items and containers of all kinds, glass or glass objects, chemical, explosive, flammable, toxic and narcotic substances, oversized luggage exceeding the dimensions of 30w x 20h x 15d, umbrellas, weapons (stabbing, cutting, firearms, etc.), iron or plastic poles (e.g. selfie sticks, handles, flagpoles, etc.), scissors, knives, laptops, tablets and similar devices, explosive substances (explosives, detonators and explosive flammables), binoculars, perfumes – over 100 ml, hairsprays or deodorants in pressurised containers, any sports equipment, in particular bicycles, scooters, prams and others. PLAYzone has the right to decide on the dangerousness or impermissibility of individual items with regard to internal safety in the building and with regard to the safety and protection of the health and property of the participants in the event being held.
  9. Visitors are obliged to observe all hygiene and safety measures related to any epidemiological situation and other PLAYzone instructions. PLAYzone will inform Visitors about these rules upon entry to the PLAYzone arena.
  10. Every Visitor is obliged to behave in the PLAYzone arena in such a way as not to disturb other Visitors of the PLAYzone arena and/or disrupt the normal operation of the PLAYzone arena.
  11. PLAYzone reserves the right to refuse entry to or order to leave the premises of the PLAYzone arena any Visitor who does not observe these Visitor Rules or other PLAYzone regulations or instructions, or those of persons designated by it, security staff, medics and firefighters, and whose behaviour is found unacceptable.
  12. PLAYzone reserves the right to refuse entry to or order to leave the premises a minor, especially if that person is present at playing or watching Games unsuitable for the given age category.
  13. Every Visitor is obliged to behave in the PLAYzone arena in such a way as to avoid damage to property or health. The Visitor is obliged to handle all equipment in the PLAYzone arena in accordance with the staff's instructions and in such a way as to avoid damaging it, and to use it for the purpose for which it is intended and in the usual manner. In the event that the Visitor handles the PLAYzone arena's equipment in breach of these Visitor Rules, PLAYzone is entitled to prevent them from further using the Gaming Spot and/or the PLAYzone arena's equipment. The PLAYzone arena has the right to demand compensation for damage caused by the Visitor by breaking equipment in the PLAYzone arena.
  14. The Visitor acknowledges that the premises of the PLAYzone arena are monitored by a security camera system for the purpose of protecting PLAYzone's property, preventing the entry and movement of unauthorised persons around the PLAYzone arena, and protecting the life and health of Visitors. More information about the use of the security camera system is provided in the Directive on the Conditions of Operating a Camera System with Recording and the Protection of Personal Data, which is available on the website www.playzonearena.cz and for inspection at the reception in the PLAYzone arena.    
  15. The Visitor acknowledges that smoking (including vaping and heating tobacco or other alternatives to smoking) is strictly prohibited in the PLAYzone arena and in the Westfield Chodov shopping centre, and undertakes to observe this prohibition.
  16. The Visitor acknowledges that entry to the PLAYzone arena and staying in the premises of the PLAYzone arena is prohibited under the influence of alcohol or other narcotic substances, with the exception of alcohol purchased in the premises of the PLAYzone arena. The Visitor acknowledges that PLAYzone is entitled to remove from the PLAYzone arena any excessively intoxicated person.
  17. The Visitor is obliged to maintain order and cleanliness in all areas of the PLAYzone arena; to move carefully, in their own interest, on smooth and wet surfaces, thereby avoiding slipping or injury.
  18. The opening hours of the PLAYzone arena are Friday to Saturday from 11:00 to 23:00 and Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 22:00. PLAYzone is entitled to change the set Opening hours at its discretion, either temporarily (e.g. in the case of tournaments or other special events) or permanently.
  19. The Visitor undertakes to observe the set Opening hours and is obliged to leave the PLAYzone arena before the end of the Opening hours. Staying in the PLAYzone arena or using its facilities outside the set Opening hours without the prior consent of PLAYzone is not permitted.
  20. The Visitor undertakes not to obstruct the traffic area in front of the PLAYzone arena and to use only the designated areas in the Westfield Chodov shopping centre for parking, and not to damage the greenery belonging to the surrounding properties.
  21. The Visitor must not in any way interfere with the electricity, water, gas or other distribution systems, nor change the structural layout and equipment of the PLAYzone arena.
  22. The Visitor is obliged to notify PLAYzone immediately of any damage that has occurred at a Gaming Spot or in the PLAYzone arena.

These Visitor Rules are valid and effective from 25 April 2022.
